Aberoc Books ("we," "us," or "our") operates aberocbooks.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit this website, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

Information you provide directly. If you sign up for our email list to receive a free puzzle download or news about new titles, we collect the email address you give us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — pages viewed, time spent, general location (city/country level), and device type. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.

We do not collect payment information on this website. All paperback purchases are handled directly by Amazon, and all digital PDF purchases are handled directly by Etsy — each of those companies has its own privacy policy governing that transaction.

How we use your information

To send the free puzzle download or content you signed up for
To occasionally email you about new titles, if you've opted in to our list
To understand which pages and titles visitors find useful, so we can improve the site

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or personal information to any third party.

Third-party services we use

Mailchimp — stores and manages our email list and sends the emails you sign up for. Mailchimp's privacy policy
Google Analytics — provides anonymized, aggregate usage statistics about site visits. Google's privacy policy
Amazon and Etsy — process and fulfill all purchases; we never see or store your payment details.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our email list at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how some parts of the site work. If you'd like us to delete any information we hold about you, email us and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

Many of our puzzle books are made for children, but this website itself is intended for use by adults — parents, teachers, gift-buyers, and other visitors making a purchasing decision. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
